• Ask your child to name her five closest friends. (How many of these people do you know?)
• Ask your child to tell you about his favorite activities. (How many of these activities do you do with your child?)
• Ask you child to tell you about her favorite family memory.
• Ask your child what he likes best about school. (Call one of his teachers this month and ask how he is doing in class.)
• Allow your child to plan the next family outing.
