JTNN works with coalition partners and hundreds of local youth each year to create an anti-drug mural. The project goal is to help youth identify what keeps them from using drugs.

Each year more than 200 youth create images of their “anti-drug” through paintings, photographs and other artwork.

The 2007 project evaluation revealed that only 33% of the youth participants could identify their anti-drug before participating in the project. After participating, 75% of the students could identify their anti-drug.
